Randy Boushek oversees all of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans corporate financial services for the organization, including the accounting, tax, actuarial, procurement, and facilities management functions.
Boushek joined Lutheran Brotherhood in 1981 as an associate actuary. After holding a variety of positions in the organization, he was named Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer in 1999. He became Senior Vice President and Treasurer in 2002 and was appointed to his current position in 2004.
Born in Minneapolis, MN, Boushek earned a B.A. degree in mathematics with summa cum laude honors from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
In addition to his responsibilities with Thrivent Boushek also serves as a Board member of the Minneapolis Downtown Council, a member of the Board of Regents of Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota, and a member of the Board of Directors of Concordia Plan Services in St. Louis.
