Thrivent Partner Emerging Markets Portfolio

Portfolio Fact Sheet (PDF, 185K)   |   Prospectus & Reports

Portfolio Management

Investment Objective

  • Seeks long-term capital growth.

Investment Strategy

  • The Portfolio typically invests its net assets in emerging market common stocks, but may also invest in other types of equity securities such as preferred stock, convertible securities, depositary receipts and rights and warrants to buy common stocks.
  • The Portfolio's investments are ordinarily diversified among regions, countries and currencies.
  • Individual stock selection, rather than country or sector themes, drives the Portfolio allocation.

Benefits of Investing in the Thrivent Partner Emerging Markets Portfolio

  • Under normal circumstances, the Portfolio invests at least 80% of its net assets in emerging market common stocks but may also invest in other types of equity securities, including preferred stock, convertible securities, depositary receipts and rights and warrants to buy common stocks.

Special Investment Risks

  • Foreign investments involve additional risks including currency fluctuations; greater political, economic and market instability; and different accounting standards. These risks are magnified when the Portfolio invests in emerging markets, which may be smaller and less liquid than domestic markets.
  • Prices of small- and medium-sized companies are generally more volatile than larger companies. The allocation strategies used may not produce the desired results.
  • These and other risks are described in the prospectus.

Investment Minimums

  • All initial and subsequent investment minimums exist at the contract level. Most subaccounts carry no investment minimums.
  • However, a minimum of $1,000 is required if you choose to use the DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) Fixed Account to fund periodic investments to other subaccounts. See the prospectus for additional information.
