Investment Objective

  • Seeks long-term capital growth.

Investment Strategy

  • The Portfolio seeks to achieve long-term growth by investing primarily in global companies' equity securities in a variety of natural resources-related sectors, including energy, chemicals, oil, gas, paper, mining, steel, and agriculture.

Benefits of Investing in the Thrivent Partner Natural Resources Portfolio

  • Under normal circumstances, the Portfolio will invest at least 80% of its assets in the securities of companies with substantial natural resource assets or in securities the value of which is related to the market value of some natural resource asset.
  • The Portfolio invests primarily in equity securities of companies in a variety of natural resource related sectors, including energy, chemicals, oil, gas, paper, mining, steel or agriculture.

Special Investment Risks

  • The Portfolio primarily invests in natural resources-related industries and will thus be subject to greater price volatility than a fund investing in a broad range of industries.
  • These and other risks are described in the prospectus.

Investment Minimums

  • All initial and subsequent investment minimums exist at the contract level. Most subaccounts carry no investment minimums.
  • However, a minimum of $1,000 is required if you choose to use the DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) Fixed Account to fund periodic investments to other subaccounts. See the prospectus for additional information.
