Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is structured into 10 divisions to serve our members, offering you a broad range of career opportunities as a corporate employee.
- Chief Financial Officer Organization – Provides financial and strategic leadership. Made up of five key departments: Corporate Accounting, Corporate Actuarial, Corporate Services, Mutual Fund Accounting and Tax Management.
- Communications – Provides communications counseling and planning for internal and external audiences. Departments include: Media Relations, Community Relations, Creative Services, Corporate Communications and Field Communications.
- Field Distribution – Offers a broad range of services to support financial representatives and regional financial office staffs to see them through their careers from hire through development and career recognition events.
- Financial Services Operations – Supports all transactions for insurance and investment products including mutual funds, annuities and brokerage services including new business services, customer interaction centers, product services, claims, medical services, compliance, suitability and affiliated support systems and management.
- Fraternal Operations – Develops and manages programs and services for Thrivent Financial members, builds and maintains relationships with key Lutheran constituents and provides leadership and manages grant programs of the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Foundation and the Heritage Foundation.
- Human Resources – Focuses on attracting, developing and retaining talent at Thrivent Financial by providing benefits, development, change management expertise, recruiting, tools, counsel, workforce measurement and customer service and administrative support.
- Information Technology – Provides comprehensive IT support and counsel including architecture, engineering, planning, systems support and development and Web site development and support.
- Investments – Manages Thrivent Financial's $73.2 billion of assets under management as of February 2008.
- General Counsel's Office – Provides legal, regulatory and risk management. Along with the Board of Directors, evaluates and manages the requirements of the law and the need to protect the society's assets, integrity and reputation.
- Marketing & Products – Provides competitive products and services, as well as member-focused marketing strategies and tactics, to support financial representatives in helping members, their families and communities thrive in life.
