Areas We Serve:

Our regional financial office covers all of Michigan, with the exception of the Western Upper Peninsula. Major cities that we serve include Metro Detroit, Bay City, Flint, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Midland, Saginaw and Traverse City.

Regional Highlights

Michigan is home to a variety of large manufacturers including automotive, chemical, furniture, and health care. It also has become a hub for technology, research, engineering, hospitals and major universities. Cultural, recreational and sporting options abound, including:

• Four professional sports teams and college sports.
• Boating, fishing and waterskiing on hundreds of rivers and lakes, including lakes Superior, Huron, Erie and Michigan.
• Hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling on 1,000s of miles of trails.

Dan Nickodemus, MBA, CFP®, FIC

"From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." This is the philosophy that guides Dan in both his professional and personal life.

Dan joined the organization as a financial representative in 1990 and followed a rewarding career path that led him to his current managing partner position in 2006. Some of his accomplishments include:

• Certified Financial Planner – CFP® certification granted by CFP Board, Washington, D.C. (Insurance licensed through Thrivent Financial; securities licensed through Thrivent Investment Management Inc.)
• FIC (Fraternal Insurance Counselor) a designation granted by the Fraternal Field Managers' Association.
• AMTC (Agency Management Training Council) graduate.
• Member – Financial Planning Association.
• Member – NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors).
• GAMA (General Agents and Management Association) – Master Agency Award.

When he's not busy leading the Great Lakes Regional Financial Office, Dan enjoys travel, outdoor recreation, music, landscaping and fitness. He and his wife, Kathleen, have two sons and are members of Zion Lutheran in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
