Curt Richards

"God continues to bless me and my family in many ways," says Curt. "Life in Him is very good!"

Curt counts his blessings every day, thankful that his path led him to Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. He is grateful to be part of an organization that shares his values, like faith and family.

Prior to joining Thrivent Financial, Curt was a business teacher and a coach for seven years. He began his Thrivent Financial career as a financial representative in 1983. Since then, Curt has applied his coaching and teaching skills in various positions within the organization, including his current role as partner in the Nebraska/Iowa Region.

Curt's commitment to professionalism, service and integrity is not only displayed in the way he leads his office, it is also reflected in the numerous awards he has received, including:

• Home Service Quality Sales Award.
• NAFIC Quality Award.
• NAFIC President’s Production Award.
• NAIFA National Quality Award.

In addition, Curt has earned the following designations:

• LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow), a designation jointly conferred by the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA, and NAIFA.
• FIC (Fraternal Insurance Counselor), a designation granted by the Fraternal Field Managers’ Association.

Curt and his wife, Janet, have three children. They are members of Lutheran Church of the Master in Omaha, where Curt sings in the church choir. He enjoys spending time with family, exercise, golf, hunting and fishing.
