Chapter Guidelines

Many chapter leadership boards find it helpful to establish and update guidelines and processes for the upcoming year.

Following are some examples of topics your board may want to discuss:

  • How your board wants to receive activity/funding requests (e.g., submit a form, call a chapter leader, etc.). A Request for Funding form is available to members.
  • Possible deadlines for submitting requests.
  • Funding guidelines.
  • How service teams will be notified when requests are approved or denied.
  • What instructions, forms and materials you will provide to service teams when an activity is approved.
  • How funds will be collected, deposited and paid.
  • Who will be responsible for entering activity requests and results online.
  • Who will be responsible for entering chapter meeting minutes.
  • How your board will promote events.
