Visibility Toolkit
Your Thrivent Financial chapter event has the potential to make a difference for your community and congregation. Use the Visibility Toolkit to help promote your event and create a greater awareness.
Who Uses the Tools?
The Volunteer Toolkit should used by anyone who's in charge of planning an activity.
- Care Abounds in Communities® activities are usually headed by members of the service team. These members can access some tools by themselves and some through chapter leaders.
- Chapter events (election meeting, member gathering, etc.) are often promoted by the chapter leadership board, namely the vice president, communications director and events director.
- Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity activities are frequently promoted by Thrivent Builds chapter specialists and Thrivent Builds congregational champions.
| Proceed with Care: Consider Confidentiality of Recipients! |
|---|
Recipients of a volunteer project or fundraiser must complete a Permission to Disclose Information form, granting Thrivent Financial permission to use, disclose and publish their name and other pertinent information for planning, conducting, advertising and communicating the results of a fund-raising activity. If the recipient is a qualified not-for-profit organization, the form does not require a signature, unless a volunteer or employee's name or likeness is published. |
