Local legal services are provided through an exclusive plan for Thrivent Financial members from U.S. Legal Services. Covered services range from wills to trusts, advance medical directives, a durable power of attorney for financial management, and many more.

Free Services (for no extra charge, per calendar year per household, for legal matters covered by the plan):
- Unlimited number of initial consultations with an attorney (each on a different legal matter). Face-to-face or by phone.
- One letter or phone call made on your behalf by an attorney.
- Review of one legal contract or agreement up to six pages.
- Three health care-related legal documents:
- Advance Medical Directive – Allows you to plan your health care before you may be unable to make sound decisions yourself.
- Health Care Agent Form – Allows you to appoint another person to make your health care decisions for you if you are unable to communicate them yourself.
- Durable Power of Attorney – Gives someone the right to make financial decisions on your behalf if you are unable to do so.
- Formation of one simple corporation or partnership.
- Guidance by an attorney for one household member to represent himself or herself in small claims court.
- One bill of sale per household.
- Up to two transfer deeds per household.

The following package rates are exclusively for Thrivent members.
- Simple will package – one simple will, plus three health care-related legal documents for $99.
- Couples will package – two simple wills and three health care-related legal documents for each spouse for $179.
- Couples estate protection package – one revocable living trust and necessary property transfer documents or an A/B trust for each spouse with two pour-over wills, plus three health care-related legal documents for each spouse for $999.

Simple Will
Provides for the outright distribution of all assets and liabilities in an uncomplicated estate. It does not include a trust.
Health Care-Related
Documents include:- Advance medical directives;
- Durable power of attorney for financial management;
- And health care agent form.
Revocable Trust
Can be changed during the trust maker's lifetime. After death, property passes to beneficiaries without going through probate.
