You are eligible to apply for membership in Thrivent Financial for Lutherans if you meet one of the following:

• You profess to be Lutheran and are a current or former member of a Lutheran congregation or the youth is a current member of a Lutheran congregation or is being raised Lutheran.
• You are a family member of a Lutheran, or a person serving or associated with Lutherans, or Lutheran organizations or their family members.
• You are associated with and provide support for strengthening the membership efforts of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to meet its mission.

Becoming a member of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is easy. You can:

• Apply for membership when purchasing an insurance or annuity product.
  • Contact a Thrivent Financial representative.
  • Contact Thrivent Financial Advice Center.
• Apply for an associate membership for $19.95.
  • Apply online.
  • Apply by mail (PDF, 39K).

Associate Member

As an associate member you have access to various membership benefits such as our Thrivent magazine, discounted legal services, identity theft protection, volunteer leadership opportunities and much more. Check out Membership Benefits for a complete list of the benefits available to you as an associate member. The $19.95 annual membership fee may be waived when you purchase a product from a Thrivent Financial affiliate or subsidiary, such as a Thrivent mutual fund product or Thrivent Financial Bank product.
